About us!

We’ve been so busy organising events and painting wooden peg dolls we’ve been neglecting the blog side of things, but time to get back on it.

Tiny Worlds Big Adventures is the collaboration between two sisters to run small world play events and generally promote small world play.

There is me – Emma, I’m the eldest sister (although with a 11 month age gap we are technically the same age for 9 days of the year!) and have two children Rowan and Cora. Rowan has always been a great one for imaginative play even from a very young age he would role play and create little worlds. At nearly 4 his current obsession is playmobil and my house is literally full of the stuff, perfect for small worlds though.

Then there is my sister Becci who has a little boy called Lincoln. She had been running a Facebook page called Lincoln likes for a while now about all the crafty fun they get up to.

We both love creating small worlds for the children to play with and watching them really interact with them often totally adapting them to their own worlds and stories. It got us thinking that wouldn’t it be great to have an event where you could go and all the worlds would be set up ready to go with different themes each time – and that’s how tiny worlds big adventures was born.

We’ve run a few events now and are slowly finding our feet! Hoping this will free up more time for blogging and sharing some of our males and ideas.
